Practical information

The meeting will take place in Lyon on Thursday, June 27 and Friday, June 28 on La Doua campus.  A series of tutorials on specific or advanced R topics will be proposed for the afternoon of Wednesday, June 26.

Registrations and Fees

Registration can be performed on line at this site.

The registration fees are as follows:
  • Early (until May 27) : 120 euros 
  • Late (from May 28 to June 10) : 150 euros 
  • Student (until June 10) : 90 euros

Logding and meals

The registration includes two lunches (June 27 and 28) and a dinner buffet the evening of June 27. 
 
We also propose, during the registration, on-campus lodging (50 student rooms  at 60 euros/night).

Getting there

The meeting will take place on the campus of the University Claude Bernard Lyon 1 (La Doua) in Villeurbanne.
 

 

Arriving by metro or tramway

  • Take the metro (line A, toward Vaulx-en-Velin la Soie, or line B toward "Charpennes"), in either case, to the Charpennes station.
  • At the Charpennes station, take the T1 tram toward "La Doua - IUT Feyssine".
  • Get off at the stop "La Doua Gaston Berger".

Arriving by car

  • Take the beltway (péripherique) get off at the exit "Porte de la Doua".
  • Follow the signs to "Domaine Scientifique de la Doua".

 Arriving by train

  • From Part-Dieu station (highly recommended):
    • outside the station, take the T1 tram toward "La Doua - IUT Feyssine"
    • Get off at the stop "La Doua Gaston Berger".
  • From Perrache station:
    • Take the metro line A, toward Vaulx-en-Velin la Soie to Charpennes station.
    • At Charpennes station, take the T1 tram toward "La Doua -IUT Feyssine" and get off at the stop "La Doua Gaston Berger".

Arriving by plane (Lyon Saint-Exupery Airport)

  • A shuttle express tram services the link between the airport and central Lyon in less than 30 min: Rhônexpress.
  • Get off at Part-Dieu station.  Take the T1 tram toward "La Doua - IUT Feyssine" and get off at the stop "La Doua Gaston Berger"

 

Note that a new mode of transportation has made its appearance in Lyon over the last several years.  the Vélo'v!
Bikes are available in more than 350 stations, 24/7. There is a Vélo'v station at "La Doua Gaston Berger".
